Gathering of Catholic Educators of the Diocese of Youngstown

Special Recognition

At the recent gathering of Catholic educators of the Diocese of Youngstown, teachers and administrators were recognized for years of service in the diocese. Teachers were recognized in increments of five years beginning with five years of service. The above received special recognition from left to right: Sister Mary Ellen Dean, OSU, for 50 years of service; Miss Mary Eileen Bacha, 40 years of service; Mrs. Catherine DiRubba, 40 years of service; Miss Vivian Floom, 40 years of service; Mrs. Joanne Fossesca, 40 years of service, and Mr. James Cooney, 45 years of service.


Reaccreditation

At the recent gathering of Catholic educators of the Diocese of Youngstown, the following schools were recognized for being reaccredited by the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.  Reaccreditation was the result of a two-year intensive self-study that resulted in the development of a School Improvement Plan that will guide the school's efforts for the next four years.  Left to Right (front row) Msgr.
